Piratey Goodness!!

I've been trying to decide between these two versions of pirate costumes that I have. I think I like the one with the pants and jacket (the picture on top that is less frilly). I'm more for fright than frills. That and the frilly one doesn't breathe. Gross!!

New Project

Here is the cute little kit I used.
Thi is the inside of the card.

This is the front of the card.

So I ended up giving away the neck wrap thingy that I made out of that silky material and the tan wool. The plus side is that I was able to get into another project. I found this cute little kit a local shop out here and was able to stitch up a greeting card for a friend of mine. Hooray!

Okay so there won't be any picture going up today but ...
I got a request from one of my mom's friends for two neck warmer thingys!!! This is very exciting for mw. I am making one for her friend's mom and another (much smaller version) one for this really cute little girl she watches all of the time. I promise that I'll put up ome pictures once they're all finished.

I've been looking through some of my older photos and have found some very fun stuff. Halloween space elf costuming and my tiny little shirts. Ooh, and one of the temple that is down the road from our house in Hawaii.

Ode to the scarf

Steff + Bathroom mirror + camera on cell phone = badly taken pictures :(

It is getting chilly outside in the mid-western area so I decided to whip up a scarf. I used the tutorial in Sheila Brennan's One - Piece Wearables. If you have a few buck to spare and are short on ideas this is one hell of a book. My pictures are not the greatest right now but at least you get to see what it looks like.
